A life-altering, mystical experience at the age of 24 set me on the path I've been on for the past 45 years.
Foremost in my mind since that time have been these burning questions:
Who am I? What the heck is going on on planet Earth? And what am I doing here?
Or more to the point: What am I meant to be doing here? What is my purpose? What is my destiny?
I spent the first 17 years after that wake up call, up to the age of 40, in institutions of higher learning,
following my inner guidance every step of the way, and ultimately earning a PhD
in Comparative Religion and Women's Studies from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California, in 1994.
Along the way over the years, I've done my best to practice right livelihood,
as a graphic artist, a free-lance editor, an adjunct faculty professor, a web designer, a writer and a writing coach.
I've also lived and worked on the staff at various Buddhist retreat centers in the US and Ireland,
and helped found and operate a start-up, web-based company whose mission was to assist people
in accessing their deeper knowing through the use various ancient divination tools,
including tarot, astrology, runes, i'ching and numerology.
My quest has taken me all over the world, to places like Japan, Ireland, Hawaii, the Yucatan, South Korea,
Italy, Crete, Greece, and Sweden, as well as to various locations on the US mainland and Canada.
In the summer of 2007, I had a major dream/revelation in which I saw an astrological formula
related to the Tree of Life written on a chalkboard in my mind and understood what it meant.
I woke up with the ability to interpret the astrological signs and symbols in people's charts
in order to help them gain insight into their life's meaning and purpose.
This is the work I've been privileged to do ever since.
In 2015, I moved from New Orleans to Maui, which I intend to call home for the rest of my life.
